Roach Honors College is a distinguished lecture series that brings together students, faculty, and the Fort Worth community for discussions with influential leaders. “Sports, Society, and Culture” Class to Host “Sports and Community in DFW” Panel

Roach Honors professor Dr. Sylviane Greensword’s “Sports, Society, and Culture” class will host a panel discussion titled “Sports and Community in DFW: A Conversation” on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at TCU’s Dee J. Kelly Alumni & Visitors Center. The event will explore the power of sports and highlight the many elements that contribute to building community through athletics, including coaching, facility design, marketing and communication.
