The grand finale of Roach Honors College Week is a dazzling celebration: the Roach Honors Banquet, a tribute to perseverance, ambition, and achievement. In an elegant ballroom filled with round tables draped in crisp linens and flickering candlelight, students gather alongside faculty and staff, to honor a year of hard work and discovery. Throughout the night, outstanding students are recognized with scholarships, awards, and special honors. Highlights of the evening include the announcement of the Boller Competition winner and the cherished presentation of the Professor of the Year award.

Professor of the Year – Maia Kelton, Finance, Neeley School of Business

Professor Maia Kelton from the Finance Department in the Neeley School of Business has been named the Roach Honors College Professor of the Year. Kelton, who teaches Honors Fundamentals of Accounting, was recognized for her lasting impact on students through her caring approach, engaging classroom environment, and commitment to student success. Known for encouraging participation, seeking feedback, and building personal connections, she created a positive atmosphere where learning thrived.
